Safe Haven offers direct settlement services, support with employment, English language learning, and assistance addressing diverse needs to help newcomers transition to living in the valley.
Services:
One-on-One Support: tailored information and orientation services covering different aspects of life in the new community, as well as assistance navigating immigration and transitioning to life in BC.
Employment Information: individual or group sessions about labor market, job opportunities, networking, workplace culture, rights, and responsibilities.
English Language Learning: English language classes, workshops, and English language tutors.
Workshops & Group Activities: Conversation circles, and group information sessions and recreational activities to build community connections, create a welcoming environment and a sense of belonging.
